Steroids after dental surgery

Traditionally, one implant holds one crown. However, if you are missing a few teeth you do not necessarily need an implant for every missing tooth: one implant can keep the crown by doing some prosthetic bridge or denture. Amount required for reconstruction implants depends on the volume and density of bone tissue at the implantation site of each implant. In the case of the reconstruction of the arch kept on implants are required a minimum of 4 implants in the upper jaw and two implants in the lower jaw. The exact number of implants is determined individually. After a detailed study of our implantology exactly determines how many implants are required.

  • Keep the tablets in a safe place, out of the reach of children.
  • If your doctor decides to stop the treatment, return any remaining tablets to the pharmacist. Do not flush them down the toilet or throw them away.
  • Tell your doctor if you are sick just after taking a tablet, as you may need to take another one.
  • If you forget to take your tablet, do not take a double dose. Ask your doctor or nurse for advice.
  • If you're having a short course of steroids as part of your treatment, do not get more from your GP.
