Nigger was the name given to a black Labrador dog that belonged to British Royal Air Force Wing Commander Guy Gibson during World War II . In 1943, Gibson led the successful Operation Chastise attack on dams in Germany. The dog's name was used as a single codeword whose transmission conveyed that the Möhne dam had been breached. In the 1955 film The Dam Busters about the raid, the dog was portrayed in several scenes; his name and the codeword were mentioned several times. Some of the scenes in which the dog's name is uttered were later shown in the 1982 film Pink Floyd – The Wall .
I totally agree. I was raised by a physician and have a lot of insight into pharmaceuticals. The present generation pharmaceutical industry is flawed and that is something that I have gained insight into also. The wisdom is this: medicine is good when it helps you, while you are sick, to overcome illness and get well. The "bad" medicine is those controversial medicines, like statins, which are nothing other than a type of calcium that is potentially harmful, which people are advised to take for the rest of their lives, to combat "cholesterol", something which is vital to human health and brain function.
Hi I moved into a house that has one sheet of white asbestos fence broken in three used in the garden bed as a plant protector by the old tenants. The land lord is having it removed but as The contractor who first looked at it is taking a week to come out I’m worried about the edges spikey bits hanging off it how dangerous are they for my kids who don’t play in the garden yet but have to walk past it ( two meters away) to get to the car? Also how safe will the garden be once its removed can I plant in the garden bed and can the kids play outside how do I get it ready and safe for them? With thanks Lisa.
